Hello!
I build things and tools for thinking with, compose electronic music, and dabble towards a personal dynamic medium for thought.
A few things I did recently:
-
Created pt5, a prototype for phenotropic programming
-
Co-published and translated Peter Watkins: No Shortcuts, a book of new and original essays on Peter Watkins
-
Created mseq and nondaw, freeform playgrounds for exploratory composition with sound on the iPad
-
Released Eskizler / Sketches 2025, an album of electronic music sketches recorded daily
-
Began translating a series of new essays on video and time by Hasan Cem Çal, supported by the Julia Stoschek Foundation. The first essay is online.
I'm part of Görültü, an Istanbul-based collective dedicated to screening and discussing films, publishing original writing on visual media, and supporting new productions.
These days, I'm thinking about wrestling with text, cells, electronic music composition, and taking ownership of ideas.
This website is part of the XXIIVV Webring.
I send a near-monthly newsletter on my activities.
